Habitat Island (2010)
Habitat Island is a website which contains a video of Southeast False Creek, Vancouver, at the site of the former Olympic Village. The video was shot prior to the opening of Habitat Island to the general public.
Currently, the village remains largely empty, with only 35% of housing units sold, whereby many owners have yet to move in. The 2005 SEFC Official Development Plan promised that 66% of the units would be affordable. Today that number has been reduced to less than 10%.
